EU Meat Seminar – European & Japanese Food: The Perfect Match! at FOODEX JAPAN 2021/Meat Industry Fair 2021

In collaboration with the European Union, three seminars were held at FOODEX JAPAN 2021 within the Meat Industry Fair. Titled EU Meat Seminar– European & Japanese Food: The Perfect Match!, the three seminars focused on different topicswith the first one covering beef, the second pork and the third processed meat. The seminars were held on March 10th, 11th and 12th respectively.

Each seminar opened with a presentation on the benefits of EU products and and how to promote them in Japan in the context of the Perfect Match Campaign. Trade experts and food professional representatives presented the unique qualities of EU meat and the advantages of integrating these high-quality products in their businesses portfolios and customer offer. Finally, famous chefs presented two unique Perfect Match recipes, which they have created for this campaign, pairing EU meat with Japanese ingredients. A total of six recipes were showcased across the three seminars. 73 representatives of the Japanese food sector, including importers and HoReca, attended the seminars.
