Successful seminar promotes European meats on the Japanese market

The B2B EU Seminar and Networking Reception held on 23 October 2023, was a resounding success. The event, which explored the potential of European meats on the Japanese market, with a special focus on Geographical Indications (GIs), exceeded expectations.
The seminar was well attended and the EU Delegation's presentation and panel discussion concluded on a high note, leading to an engaging Q&A session. The attendees posed insightful questions about Europe’s Geographical Indicators (GI) system, logistics, and sustainable farming practices. Ms. Kobayashi Megumi, representing the EU Delegation, ensured that all questions were noted for follow-up after the reception.
Delightful culinary experience
The reception was a delightful culinary experience, with a diverse menu that captured the attendees' interest. Isabelle de Stobbeleir introduced two original "Perfect Match" recipes, and guests were treated to a taste of European delicacies, including Bresaola della Valtellina offered by the Italian embassy. A thoughtfully crafted goodie bag awaited guests upon their departure, featuring branded items and informative materials to further connect with European meats.
