Ingredients: 2 servings

  • Lübecker Marzipan PGI from Germany 150g
  • Sugar 30g
  • Egg 127g(Lx2)
  • Flour 25g
  • Strong flour 12g
  • Baking powder small spoon 1/8
  • Melted butter 45g
  • Fruit of your choice (Strawberry, orange, blueberry, kiwi etc)  some

Steps

  1. Add the beaten eggs to the Lübecker Marzipan from Germany a little at a time, mixing well.    
  2. Warm the dough in a bowl to body temperature in a hot water, remove the bowl from the hot water and beat well with a whisk until the dough is cool and ribbon-like.    
  3. Add the sifted flour, strong flour and baking powder together.    
  4. Add a small amount of the batter to the microwave melted butter and mix well, then add it back to the whole mixture and mix well.    
  5. Pour into buttered moulds and bake in a 180°C oven for 15 mins, then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for a further 20 mins.    
  6. Remove from heat and decorate with fruit of your choice.
